everything is fine.
I dare say, volume control (esp. lower stage ) be so smooth and plus volume mark.
Short: It is working very well for the secondary speakers in my system. I have no doubt it would work very well for primary bookshelf speakers also.
Long:
I recently purchased a Fosi Audio V3 300W amp w/48v ps as a primary amp to do 4-channel, and eventually surround. I purchased the V3 through Amazon, and at that time was directed to view Fosi's web page...which has direct-to-customer! So I purchased the V1.0 as the 'rear' amp of the system.
Setup is a bit bizarre.
The Fosi V1.0 powers a pair of Bic RTRV44-2 80w@8ohm indoor/outdoor speakers as the 'rear' speakers. The Fosi V3 powers a pair of Peavey 450w@4ohm studio monitors as the 'front' speakers. The Fosi amps are a move from an aging Yamaha RX-V447 receiver.
The V3 provides substantial heft to run the Peavey speakers, and the V1.0 more than enough for the Bic. I've had to carefully equalize, but managed to get a nice balance with substantial headroom.
Overall, I'm quite pleased with both the V1.0 and the V3. I'd not hesitate to recommend them, and will likely buy more.
Bought to use with an Echo Dot and a set of speakers in my workshop. Needed something smaller and less power hungry than the full size receiver I have. This is absolutely perfect. Uses 1-2 watts at idle. RCA inputs, binding posts outputs, high quality aluminum housing and a very smooth volume control. It drives the speakers louder than I had imagined it could and more than I need. Not sure how this can be beat for the price if you are looking for a simple way to put some power to a set of speakers.
