Great DAC, could not be happier, really expands the soundstage and brings out details.

I love this little DAC. it gave a chance to my V3 to connect my tv and in the future a CD player. The sound is crisp and distortion free. I like it a lot.

I bought it to my night stand to use with my GR70 amp and works as it should. One minor problem is that my phone complains about it that it draws too much power, but it works as it should just a warning. I can use an Y usb cable to feed power if needed. The sound is great, nothing to complain about.

Easy to connect and easy to use; this DAC should be able to last for decades if treated properly. The analog output from this DAC is about 2.3 dB hotter than the analog output from my Sony CDP-CE500 CD changer player, so it would be nice to have a built-in gain adjustment, but I won't complain too much.

For the money, it's more then good! Sounds clean, direct. Absolutely satisfied and fit my stack perfectly.

The DAC does everything I need it to and pair perfectly with the V3 amp. My only complaints are minimal but there are a couple but none are deal breakers. I wish they used a blue LED instead of amber on the DAC so it matched the V3. The other complaint is that the selector knob does not match up with the input labels. It sits in between two inputs and not directly pointing at one or the other. Other than that, I love the sound that the pair make with my KEF Q150s and that they take up such a small footprint on my desk.

Got the Q6 to feed into my GR70 tube amp. Been using this combo with my HD600 headphones. I can’t imagine anything sounding better than this setup honestly.

Recently received the Q6 DAC and GR70 tube amp to power my Sennheiser HD600 headphones. Honestly I can’t imagine anything sounding better than this. Music is exciting all over again. Both the Q6 and GR70 are great little devices, nice build quality and excellent audio.

This is a very good DAC out of the box.
No bells & whistles, pure music bliss.
In previous iteration of Fosi DACs, they tried to focus on more features - BT, headphone amp, preamp, hdmi arc... but mediocre in terms of sound quality.
A DAC base on Q6 with xlr and Rca output, akm4499 chip. No knob to differentiate it from preamp and amplifier. Thank you

Would it be to much of an ask to have seperate power and data USB port's?

I use this as in between my WIIM Pro and Fosi V3. It opened up my vintage speakers quite significantly, making the instrument separation and sound stage much clearer, less fatiguing, and more airy. This is my first DAC and I'm very happy with it.

Well-packed, arrived on time, as described. Simple yet more than adequate. I needed just a dac as my dac's usb b input on my grant fidelity 09 was messed up but I still wanted to use the tube amp headphone out. Out of the box the sound was dull-no highs. Next, the mids became kinda scratchy. Then the mids became strident. Finally after about a day later, things smoothed out and it sounds great. This is the second time I've experienced a type of "burn-in" progression with an audio product. Both times it was a surprise. Sharing this to let people know patience is a virtue. I didn't test the other inputs nor the sub out as I only use it for out of my pc. Maybe some time later.

Works perfectly for streaming audio from a iPad Pro to a hifi system. The sound is even better after rolling the op-amp chip with a discrete op-amp chip.

I was apprehensive when buying the DAC but on its arrival and connecting it on my system, made me realise what a good decision i made and what sound quality i was missing out on. The Q6 is a great option and i must say that it should have had a few more inputs like the 3.5mm jack and RCA alongwith simlar outputs too. somewhere if the DAC had a bluetooth for switching the different inputs like Optical, Coaxial and USb wld be better than the manual knob for switching, which makes the user get up and go to the system and manually change. All in all a great DAC with room for betterment.

Got this for a micro pc build in my car came out sick but the mini pc was lacking good clean powerful signal and omg night and day when I installed this little beauty. Retired it from my car and use it to clean up a 20 year old Sony 5.1 home theater system put it in direct mode and let this baby give me a super clean signal for my main pc's 2.1 channel setup and the music is so clean it's hypnotic

There's something to be said for a functional device that performs above the price and comes with zero frills. That's this DAC. This DAC measures well, has enough inputs and outputs to where it just works well for a desktop amp or even a bookshelf stereo setup without problems.

Are there things I wish I had? Sure. A digital readout (or even LED indicators) for sample rate, separate USB C for data and power, and maybe the ability to pair with the Fosi remote that comes with other devices for selecting the input.

That being said... Right now I use it for my office stereo setup and it's just fantastic. I cannot recommend it enough if you don't need a ton of bells and whistles.
