When I picked up the SP601s, what immediately caught my eye was Fosi’s commitment to a clean, modern aesthetic. The minimalist, screw-free front baffle and that sharp bronze-accented woofer give them a refined, premium look that punches way above its weight class visually. They look exceptionally sharp sitting in the room.
​On the technical side, you can tell Fosi put real thought into the component choices. That 6.5-inch HybridCone composite woofer—blending a warm paper core with a rigid aluminum outer layer—gives the mid-bass a great, punchy grip, while the 1.5-inch silk dome tweeter in its precision-cast aluminum waveguide keeps the high end open and airy.
​Out of the box, they have a lively presentation that handles rock, classic tracks, and dynamic compositions with plenty of energy. That said, they really shine when you dial them into your space and take advantage of a bit of fine-tuning or room correction to smooth out the response curve. Dual-mode binding posts are a welcome touch for locking down solid, reliable connections whether you're running banana plugs or bare wire.
​Overall, it’s a confident first run at passive speakers from Fosi. If you appreciate gear with striking industrial design and solid underlying architecture that responds well to proper setup, the SP601s are a fun and rewarding addition to a listening space.

I bought the SP610 speaker and it is being tested.

Not sure if this is the place I should write this review? Since my speakers are not the ones that have the copper woofer, but it looks like they took these off the site as I can not find them any more.

I got the ones that have a black woofer and also 7inches not 6.5, but other than that they look the same.

The sound I have gotten from these speakers for the price I paid is truly remarkable. You see a lot of reviews on YouTube about how good they are but I was a bit skeptical at first.

After using them I do like the sound and, think they are worth it. Speaking from the point of view of someone that is just getting into HiFi, Fosi has offered me a great opportunity to start slow and learn what I like at a cost that is not too crazy.

I did also get the Fosi Sub with this and I think they make a great paring.

I bought the Fosi SP601 Passive speakers and the active SW10 subwoofer as a package deal to pair with a Fosi BT20A Pro amplifier. It was difficult to evaluate in advance as there was no way to listen in situ, but the reviews and youtube videos were pretty comprehensive.

I'm blown away by the power and clarity of this system. I feel like I have truly stepped into pretty good high end audiophile territory. The sound lights up my relatively small listening spaces and I;m really enjoying listening to all my favourite albums. Paired with the subwoofer, these speakers deliver the deep ends that I prefer, although the mid range speakers cope pretty well on their own if saolid bass is not your thing.

I highly recommend this setup - great quality at a fraction of the price of a lot of other top end gear.

WOW! Paired with a schiit gjallarhorn these speakers sound exceptionally clear without the need for a subwoofer, they hit 40hz easily and have very punchy bass with an exceptionally smooth top end, I got them in a kickstarter kit with the Luna turntable but they have shined on their own and incorporated themselves as my main bookshelf’s as of yet.

Good value for the price. Free delivery did not work.

I bought the speakers about three months ago and have tried them in every possible way, and I can say that they sound poor. There is no consistent control of the high frequencies, with phenomena that are sometimes very annoying. There is even a now well-known video on YouTube showing a modification involving the replacement of two resistors to attenuate the tweeter output. I also wrote to Fosi, but they asked me to send a video of the issues I’m experiencing. However, how can an anomaly in acoustic response be properly demonstrated through a video sent via email? I’m disappointed that the company does not seem to care even to listen to some criticism.

Everything is perfect, you hear very well. I use an MC331 with tubes and get a sweet HI-FI sound.

Really good speakers, with both clarity and bass.
