All in all, the Fosi Audio i5 presents itself as a competitive alternative to established planar headphones. If you value technical precision, neutral tuning, and the ability to make personal sound adjustments (without altering the sound character), then the Fosi Audio i5 is a suitable headphone.

Now the i5 truly does it all, and I can safely recommend it for everyone looking for an open-back under $1000 USD. It will be a good deal even after the early-bird period, and I can’t wait to see what Fosi can do in the future.

Fosi Audio’s i5 is a wonderfully built, comfortable headphone with fantastic resolution, excellent tuning, and a product worthy of its planar moniker. The bass is handled extremely well, and the thoughtful tuning should leave most listeners completely satisfied like a Snickers.
