Have been using it for almost a year, don't really feel the need to upgrade, using it with the fosi audio i5 and it runs them great.
love the fact i can tune the basss and highs on the fly.

I bought this to compare with a Schitt Fulla E to use as a portable usb powered DAC/amp with a WIIM mini streamer on a usb battery bank. The K5 ended up staying with me, and the Fulla E was given away to a friend. K5 has noticeably more output (~4V vs 2V) and tone controls to dial in any headphones. Interestingly, the RCA preamp outputs only appear to be 1V, but there is less noise and less crosstalk. There is some residual noise (hiss) via the 3.5mm headphone output when compared to the Fulla E, but that is probably related to the higher gain of the K5. I would love to see a unit like this with analog (aux) inputs and outputs, and replace the mic input with a 4.4mm balanced output. Until then I feel no need to upgrade

Fosi K5 Pro... I had some noise problems with a low impedance headset, after I used another one with higher impedance the noise no longer exists... so it became a great dac for gaming 👍🏻 full support from the store... thank you
