Which devices are compatible with the VOL20?

Can VOL20 be used with Apple TV?
VOL20 can be used with Apple TV, but the connected TV must support HDMI CEC functionality.
Can the VOL20 be used to control a DAC or amplifier?
VOL20 is primarily designed as a peripheral for audio source devices, requiring USB or Bluetooth peripheral support to function. Generally, DACs or amplifiers do not support this feature.
Why can't my computer detect the VOL20 in pairing mode?
If the VOL20’s blue light is solid instead of flashing, it's connected to another device. Delete the VOL20 from any previously paired devices, then try connecting again from your computer.

... device doesn't work while charging and play/stop button sometimes randomly stops working.
Like the vol20, even though it’s not perfect: it’s missing a Mute Touch button, and even if we can get the volume to go to 0 very fast, it is a miss. Otherwise, I can’t get it to last more than 30 hours on battery/bluetooth. That’s a shame, but that wasn’t important to me from the beginning. Bttons are not easy enough to find, but again, that was not important to me. It does change the volume of my Mac very well, and that’s what I was hoping for.
