How to: Choose the right banana plug?
- Closed Screw Type. All Fosi amplifiers use standard-sized speaker terminals (4mm pins).
- Easy to wire up and solidly connect to amplifier and passive speaker.
- If they do not fit, use a little force to tighten the plugs.

How to Diagnose Power Supply Failure?
- The following situations may cause this issue
- Case 1: The LED on the power supply does not light up; Case 2: Amp/Preamp does not turn on; Case 3: When plugged into the Amp, both light on the amp & power supply start blinking; Case 4: Amp/Preamp make noise; Case 5: Sound shuts off by itself
- Possible solution
- Check if the power supply is illuminated when plugged into AC by itself.
Plug power supply into a different socket.
Test the adapter with a meter.
Try a different power supply (within a range of DC input).
Test the included power supply on other electrical equipment.

What are the differences in power outputs using the 32V and 48V power supplies?

I have not looked at the circuit but most things are good. I don’t understand the need high power resistors unless you are using them to protect an unconnected amp. This is not required. I have been involved in the design, manufacture, and sale of thousands of switch devices and never used resistors for this.
Although I love the nostalgic look of the LC30, it must be said that the VU meters themselves aren’t all that accurate, you constantly have to adjust them and they do not represent the actual wattage/db levels. They’re more for cosmetics than for actual accurate representation. Having said that, the LC30 is a great amp/speaker switch, and that is where it’s actual usefulness lies for me, the VU meters are more a nostalgic novelty bonus. The build quality is excellent.
If you simply want a neat looking and limited functio switcher, this will do the trick. However, my main reason for passing on this is that when you switch from speaker A to speaker B there is no level adjustment. So, if you are comparing a 97dB speaker to an 89 dB there will be a huge volume difference when you switch. Most people perceive the one that is louder as being "better" which is just not always true. All that needs to be added is level adjustment knobs for each channel and you will have the best unit out there. This allows you to play a test tone and use a dB meter (or perhaps the ones built in) to set the volume of both speakers to the same level. Then, when you switch back and forth you will be hearing just the sound difference, not any volume difference.
Like this works great. Just use it for the looks now. Great product
