Awsome DAC but not as strong as i thought

First of all i love it.
The quality of the sound is just awesome.
I bought it to improve my sound in Escape from tarkov and othjer shooters where sound is important for position tracking.
Just 1 star minus because with my DT 990 Pro 250 Ohm i have to put Volume on max and still have to use some Gain via a compressor-plugin to get them loud enough.
Everything else is just perfekt and i can completly recommand this hardware.

A good value DAC

I have using this device mainly as DAC with RCA out to ZA3 and sometimes as headphone DAC.

Good - Build quality is pretty good in general, but the bass and treble nobs are slightly off centre. Sound profile is quite neutral, with bass and treble adjustments you could tailor to your liking. It is features rich with pretty much all the outputs for a DAC except Bluetooth, which is usually not great with the basic codec.
Not so good - the gain is quite low for RCA out, you will need to push the DAC to 3 o'clock just to get to normal listening volume, it might be too low for anyone if looking to crank things up. USB input doesn't sound as good as the other inputs.
In Summary - if you are looking for good value and reasonably good sounding DAC + headphone DAC then this could be a good option to consider.

Nice device, with a few issues

I like the device, it does what it is meant to do, but...
The front power on led is very bright so I turn the device off at night when not in use. Every time I power it back on I get a USB device descriptor failed error and it is not detected untill I power cycle the device again. Quite annoying.
