I received a defective dac. It was working great for about 4 minutes before it started playing a feedback noise whenever sound was playing through the headphone jack. I tried every troubleshooting step I could think of and emailed fosi support. They had sent detailed troubleshooting steps through my email correspondence, however it became obvious to me that this unit I received was defective as it kept giving feedback noise. We were able to solve the feedback noise from playing by lowering the volume knob on the dac but it started having a consistent popping noise after just a few minutes of usage again (3-5 minutes of audio playing). This popping noise would trigger even earlier the louder the volume knob got and would show up whether i isolated the dac/amp as much as i could or tried different cables and devices. Their support team did issue a refund. I was able to buy another unit (to arrive more quickly) and it has been working just fine. The treble and bass knobs comes in very handy and sounds fantastic.

excellent build quality, great materials in general. comes with an optical cable and a splitter for headsets. using on a senheiser game one and it sounds amazing
