VOL20 can be used with Apple TV, but the connected TV must support HDMI CEC functionality.

VOL20 is primarily designed as a peripheral for audio source devices, requiring USB or Bluetooth peripheral support to function. Generally, DACs or amplifiers do not support this feature.

If the VOL20’s blue light is solid instead of flashing, it's connected to another device. Delete the VOL20 from any previously paired devices, then try connecting again from your computer.

Bluetooth reconnects automatically. If the USB is connected, it takes priority. Disconnect the USB cable to allow Bluetooth to reconnect

Fantastic

I love this thing. I’m an analog guy and big into human/machine interface design. Screens suck for most applications and this control knob has solved a big one. Now I can listen to music on my Apple TV or watch a movie without fumbling around for remote to simply adjust the volume or mute. Now I simply turn the knob. Freedom!

Nice “Portable” Volume Knob…

Very nicely done product… Solid, heavy aluminum construction. Inventive use of a llighted LED ring to show the paired state, as welll as being able to adjust the colors as desired for a certain look or feel. And, of course, the pairing and use couldn’t be easier. I’m using it with a set of active speakers connected to my TV. The Vol 20 is paired with my Apple TV streamer and can control the volume of any speakers connected via Airplay. It just works. The built in rechargeable battery lasts a long time between charges. How long, I don’t yet know because it hasn’t needed a charge. The only criticism I can make is about the slight side-to-side wobble of the knob. Either the mounting of the aluminum knob to the encoder shaft or the shaft itself could be fit more precisely to eliminate this somewhat less than premium feel.
