What Is StepSense™ AI Footstep Enhancement?
StepSense™ is Fosi Audio's proprietary AI technology that detects and enhances enemy footsteps (3-9dB) in real time with ultra-low latency (just 10ms), without affecting other sounds such as gunfire or explosions. The AI model is trained on extensive FPS game audio data and runs locally on the C3 hardware — it does not consume any computer resources. We continue to refine the algorithm to improve accuracy and game compatibility.
What Is AI FPS Mode?
AI FPS is an intelligent audio processing algorithm developed by Fosi Audio specifically for FPS games. By training on extensive in-game audio data across multiple titles, the algorithm can identify and dynamically enhance critical sound cues — such as footsteps — in real time, helping you achieve more precise positional awareness even in chaotic gameplay environments. To use this feature, enable AI FPS in the companion app, select the corresponding game sound profile, and launch the game. The indicator LED on the device will illuminate orange when AI FPS is active. Please note: AI FPS is available only in UAC 1.0 mode. When enabled, all other sound modes are automatically disabled. For games that have not received dedicated optimization, enabling AI FPS does not guarantee a noticeable effect.
Best Matches & Operation Guide for C3 Gaming DAC
For the best experience, we recommend using headphones within the 16Ω-300Ω impedance range. For competitive FPS games (PUBG, CS2, Delta Force), use UAC 1.0 mode with the corresponding AI FPS preset. For movies and multichannel content, 7.1 spatial audio delivers an immersive surround experience. For HiFi music listening, switch to UAC 2.0 and use Bypass or PEQ mode. Always ensure your headset uses a 3.5mm connection for full compatibility with the C3's microphone features.

Should I turn off in-game spatial audio for Delta Force when using an external DAC?
No, you do not need to disable them. HRTF and multichannel audio do not conflict with the AI algorithm. You can keep them enabled and adjust based on your personal listening preference. For Delta Force, we recommend the settings listed above as a starting point.
