This amp is faulty, the audio cuts out and it sounds distorted. They even send me a replacement and it had exactly the same problem.

I've used the MC331 for a week now as a stand-in amp for my main TV while I'm in between AVRs I normally use. It's serving this role well with very good sound quality for the price. Indeed, it does sound better that the Denon AVR-S760 it just replaced on YouTube audio content. I'm also impressed that the MC331 can drive my very difficult Micca RB42 bookshelf speakers moderately loud without strain. The RB42s present nominal 4 ohm load at a very inefficient 83db, 1meter-1 watt. The MC331, at minimum, can make a better sounding alternative to most soundbars, home theaters in a box, or entry level AV receivers you'll find in big box stores with the added advantage that you can pick your own speakers. The MC331 may work well as an entry-level dedicated two channel audio system as well, but I have not listened to it this way. Another benefit is that given the MC331's very small size plus its attractive orange VU meter and tubes, its spouse acceptance factor should be high if this applies to you (not to mention its low price). Indeed, I get questions about the MC331 every time visitors watch TV at my place. In conclusion, I recommend the MC331 with the caveat that you use speakers with a sensitivity of 90db, 1m-1w or higher if possible.

This was my first Fosi Audio product. I saw it on the web and feel in love with such a small and beautiful tube amp. Let's be true and say that I love the sound of tube amps and pre-amps. This one as a great advantage: the inputs! For anything you like... I'm put the MC331 connected via RCA to a nobsound radio, the Denon DVD and CD player is connected to my tv by HDMI and from the tv to the MC 331 by an optical cable, my Shanling M0 Pro DAP connected by BT... the sound from all sources is just great. Warm but cristal, mid and highs fantastic...the bass not very "loud" but present, I'm using an pair of 3 ways Canton speakers and an Wharfdale SUB powered, the speakers from the RCA out and the Sub from the jack (3,5)/Rca out.
The remote is a plus and works great. I think this amp is simply fantastic and it's incredible for the price. It sounds calm and relaxed but in the positive side ... because it is a clear sound, and sound stage is very good and i listen to all instruments in the Blue Moods Of Spain. Crazy budget hifi amp. Buy one and enjoy.
