SparkoS Labs SS3602, Burson V7, MUSES02, OPA2134PA, High Quality Operational Amplifier Chip for BT20A PRO and V3 (1 Pair 2PCS)

Not only is the amplifier itself super small and of very good quality. By replacing the sound chip (I installed Muse02) the sound has become phenomenal. I really didn't expect that.

In my system, Sparcos SS3602, OPA1656, Muses02, and OPA2134 have been tried and I rank them roughly in that order, for ZA3, and V3Mono. These are good amps with standard op amps, but spectacular with upgrades.

I'm thinking 4.5, 4.6 Star. Cost. Not saying you can get cheaper, I don't know. I paid more for the op amps than the new unit. The Sparkos sound great, a major improvement. The sound signature works well for me. I'm 70ish. Extremely high dollar equipment and sound are wasted on these "experienced" DAV ears. Worn out. Hence my delve into less expensive and current lower cost hifi offerings. I use a Wiim streamer, a Geshelli DAC, through an OSD preamp into the Fosi BT20A Pro with the Sparkos SS3602 discrete op amps. Sony SSCS5 three ways, Edifier T5 sub. Could cut the streamer and the dac or preamp, or all three for a lower cost system, but I had it and I used it all. The Audioengine S8 sub overpowered the Sony speakers. The Edifier fit right in at 70 watts. 5 stars to Sparkos on the sound. Great sound! Price, even if fair, still exceeds any fixed income purchases by some of my DAV friends. 4.5 stars. I would definitely recommend the upgrade. 5 star sound! It held its own against my benchmarks, a larger powered JBL monitor system and an Audioengine HD6 system. Perfect for a condo or an apartment. SS3602 does improve performance, particularly if your musical source is high-quality and you take the time to truly listen. If you are a casual listener and only Bluetooth music the QPR might be hard to justify. It is an excellent purchase for some, and perhaps a FOMO purchased for others.

Received SparkoS Labs Op-Amps has no stamp on the pcb and no sealed packing, so I am not sure about its originality.
