Notice:BOX X3 is only a preamplifier, not an amplifier, can not be connected with passive speakers directly, If you need to connect BOX X3 with passive speakers, you need to connect it with an amplifier then connect the amplifier with your passive speakers.

As a pre-Amp, it works with my NAD 302 (as a power Amp) and my B&W DM 302 speakers very well. As of warmer sound, it is really helpful but not very much- just a little bit. Anyway, it is good enough for its price and I am satisfied with it.
From day one, it has a cold solder on the LED under the lamp. I unfold and reassemble, the ice works for a couple of hours and turns off again. Contacted Fosi by email, they offered to send me a new diode and replace it myself....
Other than this, the X3 plays great.

My only issue was solved by the amazing support staff, works like a charm and sounds great!
I like it but I'm going to have to play with it to find the optimum set up through my amp
