I have been enjoying my new world of “Hi-Fi made fun” since discovering the Fosi brand a few years ago. I’ve been evolving my speakers and amps, so it seemed like a natural progression to invest in an LC30. Not only are the switching functionality wonderfully helpful and fun, but the large VU meters are not only visually cool, they can be helpful for sorting out issues in your setup. You’ll notice in my setup photos that I have a pair of Bose 201 Series V speakers and a pair of KEF LS50 (wired, non-meta) speakers. The amp is a Fosi BT20A-Pro. Also pictured is an Echo 5 (1st Gen) that is connected via a 3.5 AUX out into the RCA input of the BT20A-Pro. There is also an amp missing just to the right of the Fosi BT20A-Pro. I recently bought the Echo 5 refurbished for next to nothing as I wanted to play around with using it as a voice activated source. It’s not bad. I had originally hooked the Echo 5 up to the amp that is missing (not a Fosi) and was experiencing all kinds of channel dropping and unbalanced input from the Echo 5 into RCA/AUX IN. With the help of the LC30 meters and some deliberate switching of source and amp, I was able to determine that the AUX in on the “other” amp was intermittently going in and out. I could hear it intermittently drop the left channel, but it was great to have the meters to visually confirm it. I have since returned that amp to the manufacturer. I do, probably like a lot of you, buy and sell audio gear on a regular basis. Having the LC30 has allowed me to evaluate difference speakers and amplifiers in my quest for “Hi-Fi made fun”. The build quality of the LC30 is really top notch; typical Fosi all-aluminum construction. The meters have multiple luminance settings from off to REALLY bright. I got the LC30-Y with the yellow meters and red indicators although Fosi offers a version with black background meters. There is a remote that functions as expected within my listening room. The 5-way binding post are really solid. I did invest in a bunch of 1 foot banana plugs to make switch things in and out that much easier. I am happy to report that I do not hear any hum or any clicking when turning on or off or when switching between speakers and amp sources. This unit is more expensive than some of Fosi’s amps, but if you are like a lot of us and have a stash of speakers and amps that you want to switch between, this is a must have. Plus, there is the simple pleasure of watching those VU meters dance as you sit back and soak it all in. I highly enjoy this purchase, and I would recommend it highly to my fellow enthusiasts.

Hi, my main buying decision for this is to use my main power amps for both Music and Home Theather system. I am using the LC30 with a pair of V3 Mono that powers my Magnepan LRS as Speaker 1. When watching movies, I instead have a Dolby Atmos setup and my main Klipsch Bookshelfs is used as Speaker 2. I do not need to have dual AMP nows, I just switch the input selector on the amps and switch speakers on the fly. However, some small notes for future updates on the next LC30, the need with the black background is difficult to see at a distance of 3meters, maybe I should have got the orange background, also the 2 LED lights for speaker selection should also dim with the main lights, it's too bright when I use it at night, for music it's fine, but for home cinema it's too bright. Else the selector is very fast, very transparent and is very well built. Would recommend it, the meters are just a bonus instead of a boring selector box, I would also request that you make the sensitivity knob adjustable from the remote also as I have to change it often based on the speaker selected and the levels I'm listening at

Does what it's designed to do. One improvement I would suggest would be to replace the 'stepped' VU backing light control with a variable knob. Lowest brightness setting, still too bright for dark environments.
