I have this connected to a Fluance RT85 going into a Yamaha RX-V6A and it sounds amazing! I've tested it against the internal and phono connection and another tube pre amp and there is no comparison. Clean, crisp and dynamic. Keep up the great work.
Today I received my Fosi Box X2 and you've given me a new stereo system. I have a vintage Pioneer turntable from the 70's and a Pioneer receiver from the 90's and the Box X2 has delivered on what I had hoped for. In particular, I was looking for an improved low end and that wish has come true. I'm hearing sounds on my records that I hadn't heard before and it's really quite something when you consider the return on investment. I've just ordered a set of the upgraded tubes so I can experiment. Thank you Fosi Audio!
Great device! However, it's puzzling why an additional input mode is included in this phono preamp designed for turntables. A headphone input would enhance its functionality significantly.
