I really love this little amp. Whether the source is Bluetooth input or connected via a 4-1 selector to a cd deck, tv, dvd deck and a Fosi Box X4 amplifying my vintage Dual and Sony turntables, the system produces clean, spacious sound that fills my finished basement listening area in a very satisfying manner. Listening always brings a smile to my face. I bought it with the 40 Watt 5 amp GaN power supply. The rms power is probably more like 40 W/channel into 8 ohm, 3-way speakers, but that’s plenty for me, since I rarely turn the main amp volume higher than half way. The bass and treble controls are useful for fine tuning the sound when needed, especially with their center detents for reference, however I don’t use them that often. As other reviewers have said, the amp does feel a bit warm after 1-2 hours of use, but not overly so. It was well-packaged and delivered from Fosi/China in just a few days after ordering. Very easy to set up the system. And it all looks beautiful. My only suggestion for improvement is that the amp include a headphone-out that works across all inputs, (unlike the Box X4 preamp headphone jack that is designed to work only with the turntable, although there is a workaround).

Great quality amp for the price

I have the amp in my shop pushing a pair of vintage Pioneer speakers with 12 inch subs. It sounds decent enough but it certainly can’t overpower them. Overall I’m pleased with the purchase the only thing that concerns me is the unit puts out a LOT of heat, I’m worried about its longevity, time will tell. I forgot to mention that I have the 48 volt power supply, I would suggest it if you’re trying to drive anything large.
