Fosi Audio V3 Mono Power Amplifier for Home Audio Speakers, Mini Monoblock Class D Amp

Right out of the box, just holding them in my hand I could tell they were well put together little beasts. The switches in front feel really good, and the connectors in the back seemed sturdy. I was a little bit caught off guard by how small the binding posts were and I had a little bit of trouble sticking the bare wire in, and the rotation of the holes for the wire was not the same on both posts (maybe they can be rotated back, but I didn’t try that). I got the package with 1 power supply which splits into two cords, and because the amps are quite light, and the weight and stiffness of the power cords and cord splitter thing is enough to make positioning them a little bit difficult, but once they’re set they’re set. The cord from the wall to the power supply is also very short which makes positioning more strict. But I got them set up and plugged in and they’re working perfectly! They’re powering a pair of Paradigm Monitor SE 6000f speakers and compared to my Denon avr 570 that I had them powered with previously, the bass is so much more powerful and detailed. I don’t want to talk too much on the sound because I haven’t much experience to compare it to since they’re only my second amp. Something I do notice and as have other reviewers online, they can’t get quite warm to the touch when driving at louder volumes. They have never gotten to the point that they are too hot to touch, and I haven’t noticed any degradation to the sound when they heat up, so they must be engineered with the heat in mind. I am very satisfied with these monoblocks and would absolutely recommend them to someone on a lower budget looking for some kick in their system.

Everything worked out as planned. The ordering (direct from Fosi) was easy, same was the payment on the ordering page.
The dilevery took about 10 days to Norway - so very good.

And the sound is very satisfying and as I aspected. I use them as front apmlifiers in a home theatre.

Only one flaw that I can find that is - that turn on click. That is ugly.
Audio Science Review rated the Fosi the same as NAD's C298 power amp. I happen to have the NAD and I can't argue with the ASR review, and that is without taking the price into account.

Fix the turn-on click, and, better, add a trigger input and I might just give it 5 stars :)

Ottimi, solo alcune piccole cose; i piedini sono minuscoli, non permettono quindi un raffreddamento ottimale, sostituiti con altri alti 30 mm e il raffreddamento è nettamente migliorato; la sostituzione degli operazioni è sostanzialmente inutile, quantomeno io non ho notato differenze: per il resto prodotto dal rapporto qualità prezzo stellare.

I started early lasy year (2024) with a Fosi V3 stereo amplifier driving a set of Klipsch RP600m speakers and it was very nice. But I have recently upgraded to Fosi V3 Mono Block amps with MUSES02 Op Amps powered by a Fosi 48VDC 10 amp supply thru a Fosi inline power filter and the amps are being signal feed by a Wiim Ultra via its USB output into a Fosi ZD3 DAC then out to the amps via XLR balanced output. The ZD3 has the stock op amps but I have some SX52B descrete op amps that I plan to roll into the ZD3 soon. Overall the system's sound is a true "FRENCH KISS"!!! I have a high end Denon and a upper tier Yamaha integrated amps for comparison and the Fosi's are cleaner with a wider sound stage and very good instrument/artist speration. The bass is very quick, clean and accurate. Oh, sorry but the the Klipsch RP600M's are great but the new monos are now hooked to a new set of Klipsch RP8000F II's towers. Just let me say that I now look forward to getting home from work and just relaxing listening to anything, actully the Beatles right now as I am typing this review. Two enthusiastic thumbs Fosi!!!
