- Stereo Mode : Replacing the op amps for both left and right channels in stereo mode, regardless of RCA or XLR inputs, will notably enhance sound quality.
Mono Mode: Only replacing the op amps for the right channel. - XLR Input: Using XLR input mode allows for further sound quality enhancement by replacing the op amps for the XLR channel.
- Subwoofer Channel: If a subwoofer is connected, there's the option to replace the op amps responsible for the subwoofer channel.
Note: Carefully align the notch/the number '1' on the chip's cover with the 'O1' mark on the PCB.

I have the ZA3 paired with the ZD3 - tremendous combo.

The little ZA3 is a ripper of an amp. No sonic flaws for me, but maybe a ‘niggle’ or two!
Sound quality, plenty written about this, it’s clean and great! I paired with a Wiim Pro+ and Elac 5.2 with a Yamaha passive sub driven by a Fosi M03 out of the ZA3. It was really really good sound in a mid sized room, for my listening (70-90db) levels plenty of dynamic range and clean!
Niggles, they mostly pivot around the form factor. The amp is small (not tiny) and its busy on the back. By the time my RCA interconnects (my silly ones) and the sub out is filled up, the power plug fitted the space for binding posts is small … they have to be. This really only leaves banana plugs as realistic option for wiring speakers. It’s nice to have the balanced input option but it is a space hog!
Im also not keen on the volume knob being the power switch … ill get over that!
A little less forgivable niggle is to have this wonderful sub out option but no capacity to manage the frequency pass though. Even a tiny car audio style screwdriver pot could have been squeezed in and given the amp much less work to do driving the mains and taken the load off ‘smaller' main speakers.
Ok bottom line … it’s an easy little amp to love .. get one!

Setup my ZA3 with WiiM Ultra, Samsung TV Frame, and Fluance Turntable. Can’t believe the quality of the sound. Smooth and so rich. Now, I need another one, one for each left and right channels. If you’re looking at buying a new amp, Fosi is likely the best and affordable solution. No need to spend thousands folks to get hifi sound.

It is the perfect addition to my desktop computer. Looking forward to getting a second one so I can run it in mono.
