Richer Connectivity: Debut amplifier with balanced input and trigger in, the ZA3 features a balanced combo audio signal input connector supporting both XLR and 1/4" TRS plugs. Spectacular.!!! With upgrade Discrete OP Amp.

This Balanced Amp is incredible, especially I upgrade it by changing the Discrete Op Amp for Sparko SS3602 in both ZA3( Dual Mono). I use the Geshelli J2 DAC
With dual Burson V7 Vivid. My speaker are the Q acoustic 5020. Marvellous combo………<3

A true powerhouse!

I was absolutely amazed when I first unpacked my amps (I bought two). The build quality is superb!
Unlike many others who use these as mono amps I went for a 4.1 channel downmix with my Audient ID14 DAC. This is mainly for music listening and production but also for the occasional movie.
Both music and movies get plenty loud and I notice a clear improvement in separation of lows, mids and highs. It's a definite upgrade to my old Yamaha AV-receiver.
The only downside I see is the need to turn the amps on by hand since there's no easy way to make use of the 12V trigger in my particular use case apart from some DIY solutions which I'm trying to avoid. I would love to see an adapter for the DC power brick, so that the amps turn on automatically or ideally remember their power state in the first place without the need for extra equipment. But apart from that I'm more than happy with my purchase. I definitely recommend it!

Very good sound , subwoofer troubles

As for the sound, it's very good, but I have a serious issue with the subwoofer output when I use two in mono mode. When I connect the subwoofer output, there's a loud electrical noise and no sound comes out, no matter which cable I use. If I reconnect my bt20a pro with the same cables, the subwoofer works perfectly. The only thing I think could be the problem is that I'm using the XLR inputs instead of the RCA ones. I've tested the subwoofer on both za3s and it's the same problem. I also tried it on a preamp with output for this purpose and it works perfectly. I think there's something wrong with that output.

Fosi audio ZA3

This ZA3 is simply the best small amplifiers I have ever bought that can compete with class ab costing quite much more ( aragon 4004, Classé ca201 ) I'am really impressed. The customer service is fantastic ! Bought 2 of these units. Thanks Fosi.

Wow, impressive!

I bought this amp to see what all the fuss was about Class D amplifiers. I currently have a fully restored McIntosh MA6450, Bluesound Node 130, RME ADI-2 DAC and a pair of Klipsch Heresy III’s and subwoofer. I only stream from Apple music and I’m going to setup an A/B comparison soon. The Za3 standalone sounds great and it will be a very interesting to see the side-by-side performance considering the drastic difference in price points.
